Day 2 - need to find better snacks...

LOL - I know that next week my fridge will be better prepared! This week, not enough vegetables to help with the munchies - ended up getting a granola bar at work. Could have been worse - it could have been the peanut M&Ms! Boy, then I calculated the coffee I got while in an off-site meeting - 190 calories just for the coffee - that ended up making my snack calories more than my lunch calories!! I think tomorrow I'm back to my regular coffee with n/f creamer and a bit of sugar - much more reasonable! That, and I'm packing the blueberries! I'm trying to not eat too many fruits - but they're so plentiful this time of year, it's HARD! I need to find a good salad recipe that combines fruits and veggies or fruits and grains - I'm nut usually a big eater of that combination, but I think if I find the right balance of sweet and tangy, I'll enjoy it. I'll look around some cookbooks and recipes tonight.

    You are so new, give yourself a break and take it slow. We win the battle one habit at a upping water, tomorrow adding another fruit the next day adding more fiber and the days build on each is all a learning process. Before you know it you will look back and realize that each step was small but a solid life changing one not a fad, but a lifestyle.
