A weekend away

Tuesday, August 04, 2009

Ok, so this weekend I went to visit my mom. We had a GREAT time, but didn't do extremely well on our eating...of course we weren't completely crazy, but we enjoyed!! emoticon However we continued to exercise. We went for an 8 mile bike ride together, golfing, went to the Stuhr Museum, which included tons of walking so all in all it was very good! I felt fine with the weekend, even with splurging a bit on the food, because I know that I am focused and it is not something that is a daily thing, but an occassional thing. I didn't get home until yesterday...which was Monday afternoon around 5:00 pm, even though I was tired from the drive home I still went downstairs and did my CLX Burn Circuit 2, because it was scheduled for that day. I then invited some friends to join me today in WOWY to workout at 9:30 and because of them I got out of bed and downstairs for burn intervals and ab burner! I am feeling very proud of these accomplishments. I am loving the friends and people I have met on this journey and I am happier! I wish everyone could have this feeling in their life!

I'm just about to go do Burn Intervals for the first time. I heard it was more intense than TJ and I'm kind of nervous/excited. ;) I'm a dork... way to go on your fun weekend, sounds like you did great! I have to think that even Chalene indulges from time to time. :)

Great job on scheduling the WOWY workout and sticking to it. That's what I need to work on is sticking to it. Maybe we can try the working out in WOWY again sometime soon!

Great job! Okay to splurge once in awhile and you still stayed committed to exercising. Awesome!
