First Blog Attempt: pc is sick or dead

Tuesday, August 04, 2009

Yesterday when I got home from work I was the only one in the neighborhood without electricity. It seems the transformer at the end of my driveway is an isolated supply source for just us. They got it back up in a few hours in time for me to watch Dance you A'' Off. BUT this morning when I pushed the power button to my pc nothing happened. Yuk!! I had it plugged into a surge protector but it must not have been a very good one. I dropped the pc off at the repair shop to have it checked out but they are backed up for at least a week and a half. So I will just have to be computerless at home until they can see if it can be repaired or if I have to make a new plan.

I am so lucky that my job is actually an extension of my friendship with Tofudee (she owns the shop) and I can use the pc at the shop for my personal use otherwise I would surely go into withdrawals. I can use any free time I might have or I can use before or after hours since I do have a key. TofuDee has always been my computer angel. She built the first pc I ever owned.

My deliver truck is here so this isn't free time and I better get back to work.
