Well, end of my first full day...

Wow, and I actually tracked everything I ate, although I need to add a few items not on the list (like my ranch dressing and the protein powder I used). I'll have to add them tomorrow. But overall, not too bad for my first day. 140 calories OVER target and 30 carbs over as well. Tomorrow's going to be tough, I think, because of the whole snacking issue. I'll have to figure out how best to handle that. I think the first week or two will be a lot of trial and error on calorie counting. This is the first time I'm taking it seriously and not just "rounding" and guessing. Wish me luck!!

    Tracking is the best...a pain...but before I put anything in my mouth...I think to myself...I will have to track this...do I really want this...am I really that hungry...is there a healthier choice...

    You will learn as you go, and you did great for your first day...!

    It took me 4 days to figure it all out...this is LIFE, there will be good days and bad, but just keep making babysteps and you will get there!!! emoticon
