I'm going to try to blog every two weeks on my progress. Seeing how it's been two weeks since I started SP it's that time to do it. So in the first 2 weeks I went from 168.8 to 164.8, so that's 4lbs total. When I measured myself this morning, I lost 1.5inches from my waist, 1.75inches from my thigh, and 0.25inches from my upper arm. I am very pleased with myself on all of my results. SP really helps to keep me motivated, keep track of what I'm eating, and keep track of all the exercise I do. I always get in at least 1 walk (30-45min) with my puppy Fender--unless it's raining of course. I also do at least one SP workout video--more if it's raining. I try to stay within the ranges as far as nutrition goes, and all of the work combined gave me the results above. I am so proud of myself. I look forward to reaching all of my goals.
So since the last time I wrote in this blog, I made the decision to try to lose 10lbs by Sept 6. I've started working off at least 500cal/day while still trying to stay within the initial 1,200-1,500calorie intake. However, if I go a little over board I don't feel too bad about it because I'm losing quite a bit of that. Anyways, every 2 weeks I do my measurements (hips, waist, thighs, etc) So here they are:
So no weight differences since Monday--or was it Tuesday that I last weighed in? Whatever, no change either way. However, I do the rest of my measurements every other friday sand so I did them today and here's the results (I'm only listing the ones that have changed)
Waist: lost 0.5 inches
Hips: lost 0.75 inches
Upper Arm: lost 0.5 inches
So these are good losses. I just wish the scale reflected it. For me to lose the rest of the 8.6lbs by Sept 6 (which is about 2 weeks away) I have to lose like 4.3lbs a week. YIKES that will be hard, and not really safe to do. I'll try to get there but I don't know if it's going to happen, sad. We'll see I guess.
So I didn't make my Aug 25th goal of being at 160. So I extended the goal a little bit to be at 160 by Sept 1. I weighed myself just now and I am at 160.4lbs with 4 days left to go. I CAN DO THIS!
I also did my other measurements like I always do for these 2 week entries. And here are the changes:
hips: lost 0.75 inches
thigh: lost 0.25inches
Within the past couple of weeks I have had a few people ask me, "have you lost weight?" Those four words are really comforting to me and it makes me want to keep going. I have lost a total of 8.2lbs since starting SP a little over a month ago.
So it's time for another 2 week entry. I did my measurements and there were a couple changes but not much. Here they are:
Waist: lost 1 inch
Hips: lost 0.5 inch
That's it. I also weighed myself today, but I'm not going to count it just yet due to the fact that I was away and I ate way too much food. Today I will try my best to kick butt with burning calories and really watch what I eat. I will weigh in tomorrow.
It's that time again. It's time to make my 2 week entry, and report changes in my measurements.
I now weigh 158.2
I lost 1 inch from my waist
I lost 1.25 inch from my thigh.
I was hoping to be down in my weight more because I was supposed to be at 155 by today for one of my challenges, but my measurements went well.
I have some more exciting news. As I do every other Friday I did all of my measurements including weigh-in (even though I know I did that yesterday). Here are the changes:
weight: 0.6lb lost (since yesterday) I have 4.8 left for the lose 8lbs by Oct 25 challenge
waist: lost 0.5"
hips: lost 0.5"
thigh: lost 0.5"
calf: lost 0.75"
Today was the first measurement where there was a difference in my calf measurement since I started SP back in July so that's fun. I'm really excited about these measurements!
I'm a day late in writing this but here it is. I took my measurements like I do every other week and the only difference was that I lost 0.25 inches from my waist. I just noticed that I didn't put up the entry for the last measurements that I took. If I remember right I think I lost 0.25 inches from my thigh and that was it.
So I have decided to take my measurements every week on my official weigh-in days instead of every other Friday. Here are the notable changes
