Took little Coco to the groomer today for her bath and to get all pressy. I had a long visit with her today. She was not busy so I sat on her patio and had a glass of tea. She took care of Biancia for 17 years of her life and now she is looking after our new little Coco. Hubby and I have become friends with her and her husband over the years. They are wonderful people and she is so into animals. She looks after all of them. She takes in strays, helps with wounded or abandoned wildlife. The wildlife department has even brought her little baby animals to look after for a few days in emergencies. I do not believe she has ever met an animal that she cannot relate to. This makes me feel so wonderful to have her in my little one's life. She boards her little furry ones also. I would never board my Coco anywhere else as I know she is happy there. She is not put in a cage and just fed, etc. She stays in the house with her and her husband, she sleeps on the bed, she thinks she is just at her second home. Our Biancia was never boarded anywhere else in her lifetime and I want it to be the same for Coco. All I have to say is we are going to Sues and she jumps up and ready to go. Is always excited about getting there and jumps into her arms. The first time I took her to be bathed I had to let her have her for six hours. She took her into her house, sat and talked to her and played with her before even thinking about giving her a bath. She gave her treats and got her trust. Then she bathed her, dried, brushed and groomed and took her back inside her house for another hour of interacting and gaining her trust. I know why she is in demand and she is very selective about her clients. I do not really know how we were lucky enough to get on her client list. She does not take that many animals in a day. I think the most I have ever seen is 6 and of those 2 belonged to one customer. She told me she would not take more than she could be comfortable working with at a time. Usually it is four a day four days a week. She is most appreciated on our behalf. We feel very secure when we leave our little one for boarding
