Trying to get back in to the swing of things

Just got back from vacation. I had a womderful time and did not want to leave. It did feel good to not have to work out or watch closly what I ate. I did not over eat but I did mess up with the fudge.(MY FAVORITE) Well Monday was my new start day back to the food watching and the exercise, I had to push my self hard just to have energy to get the work out done. Guess I need to learn to keep up with the work outs no matter where I am at. emoticon

    I agree with vacation. A few weeks ago I went camping with my son (cub scouts), we did a lot of walking, but camping and dieting is not easy. When we got back, it was hard to get back on track. It took me 2 weeks to get mentally prepared and ready to get back to working out. I wanted to start working out the next day we came back from camping, but if you've camped in tents, it's hard to get a good 8hr shut eye. I was pooped when I got home with a headache. I do agree with Candy that you do have to try and fit in a little workout during vacation.

    Vacations are fun and we learn by doing, you learned that you need to work out some while on vacations. I am glad that you did not beat yourself up for not working out, you just came home and started back.
