Hey everyone! Finally had a minute to recap our wonderful day! Scroll down for pics. :)
To start, the weather was absolutely perfect! In the morning, the guys went golfing and the photographer went to hang out with them and take photos. The groomsmen took James out the night before which did not make me happy, but they had fun and he wasn't hungover so it was okay. smile The girls and I stayed overnight at a hotel the night before...we woke up around 9, had breakfast and mimosas, and just relaxed. The hotel had free breakfast, but ran out of regular coffee - this was almost a bridezilla moment, haha. My MOH went to Starbucks and loaded me up with caffeine though! During hair and makeup, I felt very calm, but started to get panic-y when my hair was being completed...
Also, while getting my hair done, I found out my Grandpa was in the hospital and would not make it. This still makes me so sad especially since it was for an infection that he gets frequently and he could have gotten it any other day....
Then, we went to the ceremony/reception site and I got my dress on and chatted with friends. Finally, it was time to start! As soon as my parents came to walk me down the aisle, I started crying...thankfully, it was pretty crying and not uncontrollable sobbing! smile The ceremony was gorgeous and we had so many compliments on it. A few minutes into it, I had a little panic moment when I thought there was a moth or bug by my ear, but it was my feather fascinator - it gave everyone a good laugh!
Our reception was a lot of fun even though we were running later than we expected from pictures. Our DJ was not the best either, but we still made it fun. There is nothing I would change about our wedding except maybe that people would have stayed later! I was surprised at how many people, young and old alike, left by 10:00 p.m.
After the reception, we went to a local Ale House - bar/restaurant - and there was a great reggae band playing who played us a song and we continued the party there! Tons of fun!!
We're about to head home from our week long honeymoon in Cancun...just letting James get a little extra sleep before we have breakfast and pack up. Week one of married life was a breeze here in Mexico. smile
Here are the professional pics our photographer teased us with and sent us to use as our profile pics before we left for our honeymoon!
Here are the rest of the professional pics! There are a lot, but they are amazing...page through to find the posed shots, cake, and other fun things. :) sevillemedia.smugmug.com

The pictures make me realize how far I've come in the last year - losing 35 lbs. and the confidence I've gained. Definitely could not have done it without spark people!
