I'm on a roll of eating decently and exercising a lot. I really do have more energy when I exercise regularly, which for me is 4-6 times per week. I just did a bike ride on Grant's Trail in St. Louis. I rode 10 miles in 50 minutes, and burned 600 calories, according to the fitness tracker here. Another good bike trail that goes right by my house is the River Des Peres Greenway, which was just expanded to run east along Germania from Morganford and Germania. I really hope that eventually there is a wide network of trails like this that interconnect, so that replacing bikes with cars to go needed places becomes much safer. It is pretty risky, at least in my area, to try to cycle on roads used primarily by cars and trucks.
