This weight loss journey is hard

Thursday, July 23, 2009

As I reflect on my starting weight in January 2009, I am a little disappointed that the scale is not moving. I took a long look at my daily habits and I realized that I am sabotaging my objective. I work off-shifts and I eat to stay awake, but my selection of food is the judas that keeps the dreaded scale from moving.

Now what do I do about this situation? I am thinking and working out a plan for my success at reaching my goal by 2010. I am determined more than ever to reach this goal. With God on my side, I can only do better. emoticon

I am planning to start packing my lunch with the hope of tracking my food better. Also, I am going to purchase a heart monitor to get a better reading of how much calories I actual burn during my workouts. Thank you for your well wishes.

I applaud you for taking the time to find out what your specific challenges are.

Have you been taking a lunch and snacks to work? I started doing that during Fast Break, and it has cut way down on my desire to visit the snack machine.
