I REALLY miss exercising!!!!

Saturday, July 18, 2009

I tired to get this out yesterday but the cable man came and had to wait till hubby could get things straightened out! So here it is.
I really miss exercising??!! I mean like is that me saying this, well yes it is.
I was sick for a couple days earlier this week and all I could do was sleep and rest, I was so hoping to feel good enough to do a video or something but no go. I honestly felt guilty at not being able to exercise.
By Wednesday I was back mostly and did most of my routine, a video and at least 30 minutes of cardio. It felt good to get back to it.
So what happened in the beginning I had to MAKE myself do just a little exercise, I had to work at getting a routine going, it took a couple months before I really got that moving along. Now if I miss one day I fell like I really messed up, ok not beaten my down guilt, but still missing it. I think another corner has been turned and this one should not be such a big surprise, I went though this years ago, but still it did hit me. emoticon
So to those who doubt that exercise can become a good habit and you might even like it there is hope, LOL I am proof.
Got to love Sparks and all there encouragement and positive articles. And even more friends here and family who keep letting me know I am doing good for me.
BIG THANK YOU!!!! emoticon

I understand missing exercise routines. I have had my granddaughter with me and yes, she enjoys going to the Y with me, but I miss my laps , playing in the pool is great exercise too. I rather have her around though she keeps me moving. I will get back to "routine" soon this week as she goes home in a couple days , but until then it is shopping(that is walking right) and the pool to play. She will sit while I am n the treadmill for a few mintes too.
