I don't want to call 911 !

Friday, July 17, 2009

I went for a pedicure yesterday and it was ok, but I could have done better....except if I get in the bathtub to soak, I might have to call the fire department or 911 to rescue me from the tub because I might not be able to get out of the tub. Hmmmmm I think a better alternative is to lose some weight so I can do my own 'activities of daily living'.

When I visit family in the states some of them have a tub with no shower. What a challenge! I have not gotten down into a tub for years. Hopefully when I reach my weight goal my strength will be up and I will be able to navigate the tub.

There are probably many of us in the same boat with you. I was laughing along with you at the picture of calling 911 if I tried using the tub!
We take things like getting in and out of bath tub for granted until we can't do it anymore.

One of my lastest blogs was on my mind scenarios. Your blog made me envision you walking around with the bathtub on your back, like a turtle. If you're anything like me, you like to poke fun at yourself.

But healthy, happy weight loss and thank's for the emoticon emoticon PJ

LOL!! You just made my night. This is really funny. When I take a bath, I have to gt on my hands and knees to get out! I wouldn't want anyone to see me like that. So, I am going to keep joining you on this weight loss lifestyle change that we have undertaken. We can do this.
