I'm back....

Thursday, July 16, 2009

THe weekend was fun. A very long drive but well worth it. I always enjoy going to my sis's house during this time of the year because it's monsoon season..but for some reason the last couple of years the rain just seems to run away from me. Yeah...not funny. You see, were I live, it hardly EVER rains. And I love rain. A few days before we got there my brother in law told us they had a huge storm, they were without electricity for like 5hours! I was excited. When we got there...clouds started to go away. When I was leaving they came back and a day after I left, they had a big storm! emoticon So I saw no time.

My sister lives in RIo RICo AZ, lots of hills not a lot of roads lol. So we took walks on Saturday and Sunday's morning. I tried doing a bike ride of the same route and was SO SO HARD. yeah..not trying that again. Saturday I burned 450 cals and Sunday 329. I did eat badly but at least I did something.

Tomorrow is my 4th wedding anniversary. We are planning on maybe going to the movies dinner who knows. I am baking a new cupcake recipe though we'll see how that goes.

It is confirmed, I'm doing a quinceaƱera(like a sweet 16) cake in Sept, along with a dessert table! I'm going to see a couple on Friday for a wedding in Nov for 400+ people, yikes!!! I'm excited! It seems I'm getting lots of calls lately! It's been hard too since I am also trying to finish my 2nd associates in business administration. But I know I can do it. I'll be done with 2 courses in 3 weeks! I am getting financial aid for my classes next semester! yeah!!! so I don't have to charge my credit card.

My dad is still in pain. We are still waiting for the specialist's appointment. It is so frustrating you have no idea. I hate insurance companies. I hate them. My dad seems to be abit more calm. He realizes whatever it is, we got see what we can do to solve it, if it means surgery than so be it. he is a strong man and I know he will pull through. He just turned 62 and he had a physical test done like 2 months ago they told him he was in great great condition for his age. (he's always worked physical jobs so he gets a workout). I just wish this whole process would go faster.

I'll post of pics of my creations probably friday or saturday....

Here are some pics of the walks we took...yup...those are some steep hills! And see those clouds? yup they were coming when I was leaving. I don't think they like me much. Oh and those cute dogs...they are all my sister's! I just want to keep one! That brown puppy is adorable! She was so sweet...too bad they are big dogs (Siberian husky)and I can't keep them in my small apartment!!!

Some pics of my son and niece, and then a couple from my dad's birthday on the 2nd. Oh and one of my sis and I, yeah...I tend to be the silly one! At least I was watching the road! Oh and that ugly centipede we found in the garage.. I swear it's like a zoo whenever I go visit, I always see something new! love Rio Rico, AZ!
