Been a while! I have been dancing!

It has been a while, and during this time, I have managed to continue to belly dance in my weekly classes, and we had this past Saturday our recital!

Check us out shaking it!

I have been down 4 lbs since I started tracking. I am pleased with the progress. I do not feel like I am struggling at all, so I am so pleased. I feel like I am getting a hang of the caloric math again, which was really out of tune for a while.

I have also been training with my friend MizzD. The longest I have gone is 7.25 KM, which is great, but we are on track for our 1/2 marathon.

I have also tried Yoga, and I like it a lot. Hopefully it is something that we can keep up successfully as it would improve breathing endurance for running, muscular fitness and flexibility for both running and belly dancing. Very good fit for my life, as I also enjoy the fact that it pulls together mind and body and incorporates meditation.
