tis my birthday and I am going to eat the Brownies

Because I've lost nearing 5lbs and I have to walk 2.5 miles to get them ;)

The brownies were promised to me before the diet adventure and one of the cooks actually emailed me to say she was sorry to be tempting me away from the path of right with them (we see each other at the gym so I've told her my grand plans) but really, why not. I will have one, I will stay under my calorie goals, I will walk 2.5 miles to eat one, and stop at the gym on the way home. Heck yeah! Will will will!

So now I am 27 years old. It doesn't feel like much of anything but birthdays never do. I suppose I do not attach much significance to age. I like how old I am...I also like that sometimes I have to say, wait how old am I? An interesting mental slip. Word on the street is that I am going to be getting a very large watering can for the ol' birthday which I am very excited about. My back garden has a million tomato plants and no hose.

Oh, 27! That was a good year.

Hey, I maintain it's perfectly OK to eat and enjoy the birthday cake or brownie.

It's the leftover cake sitting around afterward, calling, calling, calling that's the real problem.

The answer is to share your birthday with as many people as possible!

    Thanks everyone!
I think I would have been excited by a watering can as a 7 year old ;)

I survived the brownies but was met with a surprise cake! I have been able to pawn it off on my housemates and just admired it from was Toffy with toffy, toffy and toffy.

Happy Birthday! I know what you mean about age and excitement... I never know how old I am anymore, and it's great when we're excited about something like a watering can. Lol. If someone woulda told you that 20 years ago...

Happy Birthday from a fellow Birthday Girl here. In fact, I celebrated in my birthday with some home made chocolate chip cookies. :) Who says you can't have a little something sweet to celebrate!
