Summertime changes are fun and may have set me back a bit.

Hello, Friends!
My summer has just been awesome! Between a trip to VA, a trip to work a week of camp, and my daughter being home for a week (during which we made a trip to Bradenton for a mini family reunion over the July 4th weekend and had two baby showers) I have NOT been eating well, NOR have i exercised very much. I have been mowing my grass and getting in some exercise that way, but the walking has fallen by the way side for about 3 weeks. However, yesterday, I'm proud to say, I was back in the saddle nutrition-wise with 2 WHOLE calories left when I went to bed! I also cut the grass, burning off 377 calories! LOL. We're having a dinner party tonight for Adrienne's last evening here... and then I REALLY WILL be good and back on my healthy regimen! I haven't weighed in for about 2 weeks so I don't know what the damage is yet.... but I'm not too concerned. I ready to roll again. Social eating is hard for me, but being back @ home where my food is good, healthful and within easy reach I'll be just fine. The one thing that IS hard is the Florida heat. The heat makes ALL the difference with the walking, and since I stay up later and sleep later during the summer, morning walks aren't typical for me. Well, I hope all of you are doing great.... I have a lot of reading to catch up on everyone. Let me know how your summer is going! I'm gone for now... going to see what challenges Vlvt has for us! TTYL!

    Hey that is what summers are for! And the good thing is that because you went into your vacations healthy, the damage really wasn't damage at all! I remember summers where I would gain 10-15 pounds! And keep it on. Now that is damage!

    glad to hear your back on track. shoot, i didn't do to well this week myself. i keep telling myself i have a few days left till weigh in but it comes so fast and let's be honest i'm not exactly following my own lead. i walk in the early morning, 6:00 to be exact. but i'm already up for work. this weather is something else. glad your back. michelle.

    Yeah, it was 105 here today. It must be about that there too. We set records. Glad to see you back and ready to get back at it. That's all that really matters. We all needs breaks. Good to see you again my friend.

    as long as you are ready to rock and roll then lets do it!!! i love the way you bounce back and thats the way it should be. we cant be too boring when it comes to vacation, you want to have fun, make some somewhat good choices lol and come back to spark ready to hit it again. bel
