Note to self . . . . ENOUGH!!

It's enough!! I'm done . . . . time to get back on track.

But, wait . . .how many times have I have said that the last two months.... gotta get back on track . . . .but it just wasn't happening. I would log on, track my food, my exercise, but then skip a day or two . . . or three. Skip the gym, eat whatever I wanted and how ever much I wanted.

What's wrong, I kept asking myself. You know what to do, you've done it before, you learned so much, had so much success . . . .just get back on track!!
But how? What track?

And then it hit me . . . I can't get back on track because I was looking at the old track to hop back on. But, I've had so many life changing experiences the last few months, the major one being the death of my father, so that old track just won't work anymore. It's time to find a new track, a new way of doing things . . . apply what I learned, using the same tools, the same philosophies, just in a new way!

So here I am . . . I pay tribute to my old way of doing things because it brought me this far. But it is time to REALLY start fresh. So here I go . . . ready or not!

It is so important to reassess and restart. I know, I have also done it a hundred times! I used to get down on myself... here we go again... but then I realized if I hadn't "re-started" all those times then I would be at least 100 lbs heavier than I am today!
Good for you for searching for a new approach. I really do think that is key. We can learn from each other, but we really just have to find what works for us during that particular phase in our life. Best to you on this journey!
