broken ankle

Nothing like having your life in balance!
Today something good happened and something not so good.
Lets get the not so good out there first.
DH has just started accompanying me to the gym. (GREAT!) but..... He did not do a warm up prior to a step class and he broke his achilles tendon. Had a long wait at the hospital.
During the wait I went shopping (He was alright and looked after) and bought some bras. They were size 12DD. Much more fun to buy than the 16F I would have bought last year!
I am sorry for DH and not worried about the fetching and carrying I will be doing over the next few weeks. We have 2 sets of stairs at home - lots of cardio!
Thank goodness for Sparkpeople where we can read up lots of good advice and information about nutrition and fitness. DH might read some, one day.

    oh bad luck for the newbie gym personage...that is one steep learning curve when you've new at the fitness lark...

    i don't know much about achilles tendon other than it can take a long to heal and it's not something that you 'think is I will xyz'
