The weekend is here...

Friday, July 03, 2009

Every office seems to be closed for today and some even MOnday! But no me, nope. I have to remain open. So here I am at work, with nothing much to do. I finished most of this week's homework for my online course.

Yesterday was my Dad's birthday. Since we were planing on having a big party and that couldn't be done since he is home injured, well we had a small dinner party for him last night. We made turkey lasagna with lowfat cottage cheese emoticon, big green salad, and garlic bread (yeah...I couldn't make that healthy oops). And of course I made him the cake. I just made a small simple one since I was short on time.

I took pics yesterday to see my progress. Even though they aren't very good pics but pics are pics. So here they are. I took one of my abs and I definitely need to work on those. This month or so that I was off the wagon hurt me! But that is just more reason for me to work harder.

I now see the pics of myself and I like what I see. Monday I printed out like 250 pics from last year's vacation to Mexico City. It was kind of sad seeing them. And you can see in the pictures that I am not comfortable with who I was, I totally reflect it. I had this short ugly haircut and I was chubby. Even though I Don't like them I will put them in an album. And next to it I will put the pics from my upcoming vacation to MExico City in Jan2010. I know I will keep this healthy attitude and will look fabulous!

Anyway...hope everyone has a healthy and safe 4th of July weekend!!! I'm thinking of making some Argentinean burgers with Chimichurri sauce that I saw on a Bobby Flay's new book "Burgers, Fries & Shakes!"

**edited to add wasn't working at first!
