Walking without the cane...Oops!

Wednesday, July 01, 2009

Training is almost over! We observed people on our teams for a couple of hours...tomorrow we will discuss what happened emoticon. Next week is the last week of training and I will be glad to get on the floor. It may not be a job I would want to do the rest of my life, at least I still have a position and opportunities will come in time.
I was trying to walk around the office today without the cane and if a chair wasn't near by, I would have landed on the floor. I have got to keep using that cane for a while.
I didn't post a blog yesterday. I don't like the evening water wellness class as much as the day classes. So today
I tried a class in the lap pool. It was a challenge but I think I will try this class on Mondays and Wednesdays.
My new swimsuit came a couple of days ago. I haven't used it yet, but I will use it next week.
I signed up for the health miles program that my job is paying for. I think that individuals can sign up but I don't know the cost. I will receive a pedometer. I have seen people wear them on their ankle. I will do the same. I have posted my classes and I printed a 12 week workout plan for the cycle.
My ankle is slightly swollen today; so I say good night to all so that I can elevate it. emoticon

I never saw anyone wear them on their ankle. That's brilliant! Mine keeps falling off of my waist when I sit down. I just broke the one that goes to my Nintendo DS. emoticon Thank you for the group hug. I just now saw it. I really needed it today. I have been struggling since the 4th. I went shopping on the 3rd, and I brought a lot of high fat, and sugary stuff for the kid and hubby. They complain if I make them eat too strict of a healthy diet. I'm having troubles not eating the same foods. How are you doing? The job sounds tough. What is it that you do exactly? Do you cook?
