PIZZA

Monday, June 29, 2009

Today I gave in to pizza. My husband didn't feel like cooking and neither did I. We both were very tired and didn't feel good, plus it was sooo hot. Inside our trailer, inspite of a small air conditioner and swamp cooler it was 90 degrees. I was going to have tuna but he wanted to have pizza delivered. I told to get just one; that I wasn't going to have any. He ordered two just in case I changed my mind. I did. I was still within my calorie limit, but I haven't filled in my food journal for awhile and I feel myself slipping. I'll try to do better tomorrow.

with pizza, I say you can have it but you have to fit it in as to portion and calories...just own up to it. Pizza is a good thing, our guilt is not. Like last night when my husband said, "Hey, do you want a piece of my See's candy?" Yes, I certainly do and I ate JUST ONE PIECE. And I put it into my nutrition calculations like it was an apple. Today, even though I ate that candy, I lost another few ounces. You can have anything but not everything at once. Like with everything else, wisdom rules supreme!

sometimes we have to have something we do not always eat that might be a trigger food. I know I have but I have fit it in. I do know though that if I do not write it down daily, I will sabotage myself. Take a breath and say ok tomorrow I will write and Iwill move forward. You can do it.
Did you enjoy the pizza? If so good and now don't worry about it.
    Many hugs
