Why I joined SP

I was going through junk mail and ran into mypoints.com. The site allows you to earn points that can be turned into gift cards. While at the site, there was an ad to join SP and earn points. Being the curious person I am, I clicked the link, registered and fell in love with SP. After joining SP, my goal was to lose 5 - 10 lbs. However, this has not been a reality as far as the scale goes but I have lost in other areas. All the other measurements have come down!!!

With all the knowledge I have learned at SP, I have changed my goals from the restrictive goal of losing 5 - 10 lbs to being healthy and staying healthy. This includes maintaining my weight at the current level (hope one day to lose the 10), eating healthy, exercising and enjoying doing all these things that they almost become second nature!

To maintain my weight, I use the food tracker. To keep a healthy lifestyle, I engage in various challenges that are set by our team leader MRSHONEYC! I look forward to being a sparker for a long time :)

    Yeah, I'm a member of MyPoints as well. Been since 1995! I'd seen their ad, clicked on it for points, but didn't join through them. I just wasn't "ready" yet.
    Funny how our goals change, isn't it? Most people come here just wanting to lose weight, then end up finding so much more information on how to be healthier by re-directing goals.
    So, you like the challenges, huh? I try to keep them interesting!!!!
