Wanna Pump Up the EXERCISE Volume? TRY THIS!

One of my Spark Friends commented on my exercise points...I thought I would share my latest tip!

I've learned (through SparkPeople) that moderate swimming really burns the calories! So, I just spend (HOURS) in the pool. I move NON-STOP...doing lunges, dancing, skipping, jumping, and even swimming. To really do this, you must lose your inhibitions...forget about who might be looking or what they will think. Pump up the music volume and move! If a disco song comes on, I do the "hustle" or "freak" of my old 60's or 70's favorite songs makes me break into the "twist", and when Ricky Martin sings "She Bangs", I start to "salsa". I use the same mixed tape music that I usually exercise to at the YMCA. I literally don't stop moving...I can work out for hours. One day, I logged in 4 hours of FUN!

If you are a little shy, just add some kids...and ask them to help you dance...

You absolutely won't believe how many calories you can burn, and the muscles really do feel like you've had a workout. An added bonus is that you'll sleep like a baby at night.

    This sounds like so much fun! I wish I had a pool to go to and do this. We are supposed to be in the 90's again today.
