plus and minus

Sparkpeople is helping me work through one those "plateaus" that many people are going through or have been through. The main message I am taking on board is "stick with it - if you are tracking and staying active it will come". Whilst I am working on this I thought I should take stock and enjoy where I am now (advice given by people in some of my spark teams.) With that in mind I thought I should write down the many positive things in my life which have come from
"Sticking with it".
No usual winter illnesses of sinusitis or the 100 day cough, sore stiff limbs are gone. don't need blood pressure medication, feel fit strong and healthy, less tired, more energy, look and feel ten years younger and have had feedback supporting this, can do proper press ups. Feel I am normal sized. Don't want to fade into the background when I come into a room to hide my fat body as I used to. Feel good about my body. Have learnt to look back at progress and use it to motivate myself for further progress.
So there it is. I feel much more positive. I was having a few wobblies about the plateau but things have evened out (pun intended) emoticon

    This is a great blog. Reminds me of all the benefits I am feeling after losing just 15 pounds! I should do a similar blog. It is a good reminder of how our hard work has paid off, and a reminder not to get frustrated when that scale doesn't cooperate!
