Something About Sushi

Thursday, June 18, 2009

I think it's one of my trigger foods. Seriously. I know what I can eat. 1 dragon roll and an appetizer of edamame is more than enough for me. So what happened???

Girlchild and I each got a bowl of miso. Split an order of edamame. One dragon roll, one spider roll and one philly roll. Next we split an order of machi. Okay, I had one piece and she had two. That stuff was weird!

I ended up eating a lot more than planned, but at least everything was good for me. I'm stuffed to the gills. So how is it that I'm stuffed and still feeling hungry at the same time? I wants more sushis!!!

I find that when I crave something I am better to give in to just a little. If I eat something else, that's good for me, I just end up eating more and still wanting what i wanted in the first place so it is better to just have it.
If it is something I don't keep in the house and have to go to the market, SOMETIMES I don't want it that bad.
    I just have tea.

Because sushi is amazing and one can never get enough! ;) hahaha Spider Roll = AWESOMENESS. I'm not sure I'm a big fan of mochi -- I bought some that was in a store though, I've never had it fresh made so maybe it's better that way...
