What I did today to feel proud and a few questions for help!!

I did about 20 minutes of Jillian Michaels' Fat Busting DVD. I really like it...I am starting out slow as I do 20-30 minutes of it. It is 40 minutes, but my thinking is get used to that amount of time...then add more time to keep my metabolism at a higher rate...I am hoping this plan works. Anyway, some days I am walking/jogging(not so far with the jogging). I have been trying to add spurts of jogging to get my heart rate up. They say that is a good way to keep the metabolism up. Anyone have any more suggestions on keeping my workouts interesting and not monotanous?
I am getting my water in too!!! That is another goal I am keeping with. Another goal is eating more fruits and veggies through the day. Slowly, I am getting there. Any suggestions on my calorie intake?...I keep going over my calories, but am watching what I eat and try to be careful with my choices. I am not perfect with my choices, but am doing ALOT better. I have had a loss the last 3 weigh-ins, but I want to do better.

    You are doing great!

    Try alternating your workouts. Maybe cardio one day, strength training the next. Combine that with eating 5-6 small meals a day and you've got a great metabolism booster.

    It takes a week or two and then you will see and feel a big change...in how you look and how you feel. You'll also have loads more energy.
