Been Awhile

Tuesday, June 16, 2009

Well, I am trying to get back into shape after losing control of my eating and exercising duringt he last few months of school (since spring break). I really enjoyed my NYC trip w/ my youngest son and his band during part of spring break. But since then, I have been so busy creating a video for the band, attending school events, trying to keep up w/ all the student projects and individual paperwork and stay on top of my Bible study and Sunday school duties. I love my life but as usual all these things keep me from wanting to stay on top of my weight loss. One of the problems is not recording my food and excerise. If I stop doing the journaling these things then I stop thinkig of how much I am eating and not doing. So I am trying to get back on track. I want to think Ma2dapples and others for continuing to reach out to me.

Thats enough of the reasons for disappearing but now for the excitement. My boys are both in Scouts and recently attended Bartle Scout Camp in Missouri where the honorary program, Mic-O-Say, is really important and they both made Warrior rank. I am proud of my boys and their talent and dedication. One is an Eagle scout and the other is becoming an Eagle scout. I turned 45 last Friday. I had a wine tasting with many friends (see some of the pics in the photo gallery). It was a lot of fun and I owe the most to my husband who worked tirelessly for two weeks fixing up the yard, installing two new limestone walking paths and fountain. It was beautiful! Now I am preparing to go on a quick trip around KS and into southern CO with friends and family. What a life!!

So my goal this next eight weeks is to at least blog one or twice a week and to record my food and exercise at least three times a week on this website. emoticon
