My motivation

This was me in 2001. I found this picture last week and I really want to get back down to that size. I know that my weight will probably be more, but I miss looking like this.

This is me today. I'm not very happy with this picture, so I am working on it.

So, here it is again, my intro (and hopefully I will be consistent enough for it to be my last intro on this blog). I have been proud of my weight loss since mid March (down 10 pounds), but I hope to kick into high gear and really quicken the pace towards my goal weight.

My husband has been encouraging me to do some weights since cardio just isn't enough. After running almost 4 miles about 4 to 5 times a week for the last two months, I can totally agree with this. Ha. So, I am now on a quest to do more core exercises and hopefully that will help me with my weight loss goals.

Today's plan is to get back into the habit of tracking my calories. I am also heading to the apartment gym for some cardio. After that, I will head to the big gym where I will finally sign up for a membership. I am still trying to figure out if I should join the racquet club so I can play tennis again. Decisions, decisions.

    Join the racquet club!!! ;-) Jeff and I love playing tennis, and the gym we just joined is connected with a tennis club. I'm so excited. Tennis is a great life-long sport, and something fun you can do with your hubby.
