helping others

Thursday, June 11, 2009

I have been helping a family who were involved in a tragic car accident. One was killed and 2 are still in critical condition after 8 days. I find myself exhausted and it's hard to keep my new routine. But I'm still trying. I know that healthy habits will keep me strong enough to help others too.

When you begin to feel overwhelmed just remember our creator and how you are being used as a vessel to help this family and set fine examples for all of us. The healthy habits will give your body the energy that's needed to sustain this schedule.

See, that's the kind of thing we are suppose to be doing and it does take a lot out of you. See that you take care of yourself, sis. It's highly emotional for you and your friends and that can derail you. But we have confidence in you. You are in control only because you no doubt are infused with holy spirit which is lending you all that dynamic energy. Thanks for sharing. It should make all of us a bit more reflectful where the privilege of life is concerned and make us realize and appreciate our need for loving friends like you and your family and for our heavenly Father who makes sure we are there for each other at the right times. emoticon
