bumps in the road

Yesterday was a bumpy day. It all started off when I realized I forgot my lean cuisine at home. I was so looking forward to my butternut squash ravioli with veggies, and it was not there. Convinced I had packed it, I tore my room apart looking for it (just to get home and realize I never took it out of the freezer). So, I had radishes and cherries and then supplemented with 4 oreos (I managed to stay away from the double stuffed) that my statistics kids had brought in for a class activity. Bah!

So, after school, I managed to leave the building a little early. Yay! Then I found out that my hubby had decided to work from home. Which, don't get me wrong, is great, but it throws off my workout. Since he works in the room I workout in, I decided to go on a started to storm (for the second day in a row) as soon as I got home. I know I could have worked out in the room with him, but it gives me a complex. So, needless to say, I talked myself out of it and didn't get a workout in. Grrrrrrrr.

At any rate, today is a new day. I double checked my bag. I have my salad with fake chicken nuggets and honey mustard dressing. Yay!!! So, I'll be able to eat a decent lunch today. It's supposed to storm again today, so if I can't walk, I'll just pop in a workout tape. If hubby's there, I'm making him take a break and leave. I have a plan. It's going to be a good day.

It is good that you could brush yourself off and start fresh the next day. Even better that you stayed away from the double stuffed.

We must be under the same weather pattern - I was able to get in exercise yesterday, but Tuesday was a total wash. I did bring my stuff to work (it is going to rain yet again), so I can walk the hallways if nothing else. :)

    Keep up the great work!!!
