Time for me!!!

This morning I blew it by answering the phone instead of getting my meal plan together for the day. I ate a sausage patty and some broccolli quiche. This friend that usually doesn't talk long was very long winded today. Should I have not answered the phone at all or cut her a little bit short (very pleasantly)? I think I should have been more assertive and simply stated that I need to get my meals planned for today. I am not putting me first and then I am scrambling for time and eat anything available. I have to make my meal plans and fitness a priority. I think I have my priority screwed up. emoticon

    You haven't screwed up. I have learned a long time ago that you have to make the most out of everything life throws in your way. There are going to be things in life that will get in the way of your meal planning. I hope you was able to salvage what was left from your day and still eat right. I take this day by day, b/c planning out for a whole week can be a little overwhelming. One thing you gotta learn is to stay positive and keep on keeping on!!

    Yeah, I need to start putting myself first. One good thing at my home is that I don't have any children just a husband. I would get on this role where I come home and put on my dinner, exercise while it is cooking etc. but now nothing is working. We are going to have to make time for us. Nobody else will.

    everytime i try to start a new healthy lifestyle the same things happen to me. i could have a new set of goals and a new found schedule made out to my needs along with a date and time to start. sure enough, something always comes about and puts a stick in my spoke!!!!!! i get so discouraged and give up. and when i try again, it is meeee!!!!!! lol, that just dosent feel like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
