Sabotage or Carbs

I was told "maybe you self sabotage" today. I was thinking I have to avoid carbs!!!
Either way I had a huge loss 2 weeks ago. It got me 3 lbs below 160. Happy dance going on for days so very proud of myself, finally!!
BAM 2weeks in a row I gain and back over 160 I go!!! So I may very well have an aversion to getting below 160. Do I need to stay in some sort of comfort zone. I am not comfortable here. I do not know why I would want to stay here. Do I really self sabotage?
Is carbs the reason and cause? It seems every time I get below 160 I eat certain things. Rice, Pasta, Bread, Corn, Lima Beans, hmmmm all carbs. Do I have some sort of carb issue. I am thinking so!! The food general shows that to be true.

Ok so I am going to keep carbs to no more than 2 servings a week. I really can not cut them out. I just love them way to much to say never.
Ok most importantly positive self talk. Look at what I have accomplished. Look how far I have come not how far is left to go. There is no itinerary for this journey. The journey is the destination!!

    I really don't think carbs are the enemy. I'm vegan and, since all I eat are plants, I eat TONS of carbs. I've managed to lose darn near 10% of my body weight eating a high carb diet.

    My diet is also high fiber, high raw foods (like fresh fruit, spinach, baby carrots) and lightly cooked veggies. I also eat whole grains which are the sorts of carbs that are awesome for you. I run and I know that carbs are a preferred fuel for runners.

    Looking at your list, the limas and the corn seem fine to me as long as you don't smoother them with butter and/or oils.

    With the rice, pasta, bread - are you eating white varieties? Processed carbs are NOTHING like whole ones and are much easier to overeat and binge upon. Don't give up carbs but make sure you're eating things like whole wheat bread, brown rice, whole wheat pasta... all these contain so much more nutritional benefits than the white versions, are full of fiber to keep you feeling fuller, longer and won't hit your blood sugar like a load of bricks.

    If you are eating whole grain versions, then I'd say watch portions.
    Carbs are necessary for a healthy body and, honestly, low carb dieters can't seem to make that a lifestyle change (nor should they! Eek, the animal products and their sat fat and cholesterol load hurt my arteries just to think it!)

    this blog sounds just like me i wish i had my printer working so i could print this blog off as a motivation for me to get started in loseing the weight that i so despirately need to lose
