What God has for me is for Me!

Thursday, June 04, 2009

I was working today on the epllitical machine listening to my Ipod and all I could do to not shout out loud was peddle faster. While listening to some awesome music I was talking to God and waiting for an answer. And then I heard him say don't you worry what I have for you is for you.... That made me so happy I did an extra mile.....

I was just reading the other day from My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers, and the selection goes right along with what you experienced...

"If we are saved and sanctified God guides us by our ordinary choices, and if we are going to choose what he does not want, He will check, and we must heed... God instructs us in what we choose, that is, He guides our common sense, and we no longer hinder His Spirit by continually saying- "Now Lord, what is Thy will?"

Being open to hearing God's voice is such an awesome thing. May you always be open to receiving from the Lord.

Isn't it amazing He has plans for all of us but they're all different. Woo hoo on that extra mile.

I think everyone needs a reminder every once in a while that no one can change what God has for us. Thank you for posting! I needed to hear this, especially today!
