Soda Be Gone

This is one area that is a big challenge for me. Some people it's sweets, chips, or even cigarettes. Mine...Pepsi. It's been that way for a long time. So I have decided to aggressively wean myself from this, bitter-sweet evil.
I will not go cold turkey, I have tried it, and it is not pretty. I have a step down program that I am putting myself on. I know some of you are probably smiling at this one, but just like any other addiction, cold turkey can be pretty difficult. Right now I drink about 2 bottles a day (no not 2 liters, haha) 20 oz or 2 glasses. so my goal is to decrease it by a half bottle or glass for the next week. I will gradually decrease it until it is no longer a problem for me. This may take a while, but as long as I am going in the right direction, it's all good.
I know that others are out there with similar addictions, maybe not the same kind, but they are all addictions. We are here on SP for a reason, and that is to make ourselves healthy.
So here is to less soda in my body, and more in the store :):)
p.s. interesting fact; did you know that Mountain Dew has vegetable oil in it? it's a thickening agent. How gross! I prefer Pepsi anyway (but not for long)...
