So the train ride to Sacramento was great. I listened to my ipod on the way there and took pictures from the window. I got there and Josh showed up and we listened to music and then went to the movies and saw Terminator. The movie was alright. Josh was a bit touchy feely but it was alright. We kissed a little bit. After the movies we went to his grandma's house and we had some food. He went upstairs to take a shower because we were going to meet up with some of his friends to play pool. While he was in the shower his work phone was ringing and his grandma went upstairs to give it to him. I guess a big rip flipped over and he had to go out there since he's a tow truck driver. He dropped me off at the station at 6pm and my train back wasn't until 9pm but luckily I was able to get on the 6:40pm train back. Josh and I talked through text messaging and he wants to be just friends because he thought he was ready to date but turns out he's not. We dated for about a week and then ended. Oh well I'm used to this happening so I just don't pay much attention to it. I just think I'm undateable now.

The old line "You kiss a lot of frogs looking for your prince" is very true. Don't let it get to you. The universe will put the person for you in your path when you're both ready for it. Don't rush it, the wait will be worth it in the end. And you'll be grateful that all these frogs along the way were just there for a short time.

I wish I had learned younger in life that it is REALLY okay to not have a man in your life. Be picky, be very picky. It is such a paradox - but the harder you try to get a relationship going, the more impossible it becomes. When you change your focus to other endeavors (improving yourself, school, a new hobby, whatever) then suddenly relationship options present themselves.

You are so young!! You have so much time to find the right person for you. Take your time and relax and just have fun..... That one just wasn't ment to be. Make these young men come to you. Don't go after them. If they can't make the trip they were not worth your time anyway. I can imagine its hard to date and meet people with your own interest. I don't know if I could do it again.

I joke with my husband that if I was single I would be a wild woman. (I kinda think its true)

Don't let it bring you down. Take control of your life and everything will fall into place... emoticon

Don't let it get you down - it's cool that you're out there taking a shot at romance. And when a guy tells you he's not ready, or there's some other problem with him - believe it - it's about him, and not you. His loss!
