Friday - it's our anniversary!

Friday, May 29, 2009

16 years ago today, my hubby and I got married!! He is my best friend and I couldn't be without him over all...even though I do like my alone time (don't most of us??). I remember the weather was almost perfect...not a cloud..but it was very windy. The "boys" rode to the church on an antique fire truck and us girls rode in a limo...after all...we were not about to get our hair messed up!!! Such great memories....and we're still having fun.

Today, we started off with going out to breakfast...which doesn't look great on my nutrition tracker if you notice. Later we are thinking of going to see the movie "Up" and then going to a local Greek fest for more eating. I'll have to try to be good there....I think if I get the kabab or roasted chicken, I might be OK. Since I don't care for Gyro's, I'm not worried about's the pastries that are the killers!! And I'm generally not a sweet eater, but it's something about those fresh, home-baked, seemingly light goodies that are oh so good!!

I forgot to mention...I did NOT exercise yet..except take the dogs for a walk...ugh!!
