Happy Memorial Day!

Happy memorial day everyone! Hope you all are enjoying your holiday and are staying safe and not drinking and driving. Tonight we're having baked potatoes with butter, sour cream, and chives, 8oz New York Strip Steaks with bone-in, green beans, and garlic bread. We also found a nice 8 inch cake cut in half with boston cream in the middle with strawberries and whipped cream on top of the top layer of cake. It looks soooo yummy!!!! With the dinner and what I ate for lunch today I'm still under my calorie count so I can sneak in a slice of that cake!

Oh I'm going to go in and get my hair cut :) I'm excited to get a new mini look. It's not like I'm making a drastic change or anything. Also i haven't been up to going to the gym the past few days. I've been really tired/sleepy and very worn out. I feel like I have no energy and it's really starting to make me wonder if I have hypothyroidism. I have most of the symptoms of it and I've noticed my metabolism is slowing down and I'm not losing weight. I try my best to work out but I'm not trying to push it and over do it either if you catch my drift.

Does anyone know what I can do for acne?? I've had acne since I was 8 years old and have been having the worst breakouts ever for the past 8 months which I think is due to the fact that I've been overly stressed. Right now I'm using OXY Clean maximum strength cleaning pads with acne medicine on it. And also trying this cleansing cream that has ance medicine in it as well. So far nothing... Is there a home remedey someone can reccomend or maybe even an over the counter product???

    I use Cetaphil and baking powder to wash my face. Very gentle, yet exfoliates. It also may be a food allergy. I found out that wheat, dairy and refined sugars make my acne worse. Wheat is in all breads, so its a hard switch to make. Drinking lots of water and eating fruits and vegtables should help too. Good luck!

    I had good luck with Proactive, which I am pretty sure you can get at most drug stores now. I found that I did best when I used it day and night, and did not wear any foundation or other things on my skin. I also find that drinking a lot of water, staying away from carbs, and making sure I shower or wash my face after work-outs seems to help. I also have to keep my hands off my face, which is a really bad habit of mine! Oh yes... getting old helps too!
