The Scale Moved

Monday, May 25, 2009

Oh My Goodness! I have great news. I worked really hard last week; I ate right, exercised and drunk plenty of water. I am a scale addict so it’s hard for me to stay off the scale several times a day. I am trying to beat that addiction but it is truly hard. Okay I’m rambling. When I got on the scale to weigh in, because I have designated Monday as my weigh in day, I was very excited about what I saw. I lost 5 pounds. Okay, I got to say it again, I lost 5 pounds. I mean FIVE POUNDS people!

With this success I promised my daughter I would not weigh myself again today, actually I said I would not weigh again until Wednesday, what did I say that for. I’m actually going to try and keep that promise, but that will be harder than giving up cheesecake. I just wanted to share that news with my SparkFriends. Thank you for listening.

Thanks you to all the SparkMemebers and Family Memebers that are serving and served our country so bravely! You are appreciated!

Have a safe and wonderful Memorial Day!

That is SOOOOOOOO FANTASTIC!!! It makes it feel sooooooooooo good to see that scale move!!! ESPECIALLY when it's moving in the right direction! So WOO-HOO!!! Take a bow girl!!!
And ooooooh ya...I know EXACTLY what you mean about having a scale addiction...I'm just as bad!!! I try sooooooooo hard NOT to weigh myself every day...but I inevitably do...I just HAVE to know if all my hard work is paying off...and waiting until weigh-in day is just TORTURE! LOL

Awesome victory on the 5 pounds lost! I know what you mean about being a scaleoholic, I too live by the scale SEVERAL times daily. I like surprises but can't stand the suspense, so I go to the scale EVERY TIME I go to the bathroom...lol.....vicious cycle that needs to be broken, as I am also someone who can gain 5-6 pounds in a single day.

Congrats to you once again on the loss, and keep that promise to your daughter and yourself
