My ability to get to the gym has been limited due to extra hours at work and not having access to a car on a regular basis, and I'm hating it. Yes, I'm walking around the lake, but I don't feel like I'm improving. I need to get back to the gym. I need to work with the weights and be on the cardio machines more.

Last fall I joined the gym with the plan of losing 40 pounds and being in a bikini this summer. Ha, that's not gonna happen. And while I'm proud of myself for going down in clothing size, I'm frustrated that my weight hasn't dropped much. I feel closer to where I was at the beginning of my weight loss / fitness journey than I feel close to my ideal / end goal.

I know that I have to pay better attention to my diet. I know I have to get back to the gym. I know I can have excuses or results, but I can't have both. I just feel a little frustrated right now.

I need some initiative.

I also need to find a really inexpensive gym. I'm going to be Maid of Honor in Heather's wedding, and we're exercising and dieting together. We want to join a gym together, but the gym I have my eye on is more expensive than Heather prefers. If anyone knows of a gym that costs $10 to $20 a month, please let me know! I don't care if it has a pool or daycare, all that matters is it has the machines. Thanks :o)
