Weight is still "stuck"... maintaining is better than gaining but I'd like it to go down.. 5 pounds, that's not too much to ask??!! I've been trying to lose those stupid 5 pounds for nearly 2 years now and are getting a little frustrated with it. I've changed my eating, upped (ha - started) my exercise and I'm still in the same range...
Oh well - it's one of those days I guess... better tomorrow!

But if you'd like to lose the five pounds, make sure you input ALL the exercise you're doing - Go to Start / scroll down and on the left side of the page you'll see My Goals / click on Burn xx calories per week and change it if you're burning more than you have listed. If you haven't been to this page in a while, it's the one that asks you to select what days and how long you'll be doing both cardio and strength training. I was at a plateau for a month back in December - with my last 5 lbs. to lose. (I was exactly where you are.) I joined the New You Boot Camp, which significantly increased my workout (I wasn't doing anything more than walking). At the same time, I read something here on SP about updating your goals if you increase your workouts. When I did this, my calories increased and I started to eat towards the high end of my range instead of the low end. After making those changes, I lost 3 lbs. in just over a week. By February 4th, I had lost the other two lbs.

    You can do this! emoticon

Okay, how about if you just say, "this is a good weight for me" and stop stressing about it? At your current weight, are you feeling restricted in food choices or hard to keep up with exercise? Is there a medical reason to lose those 5 pounds? Are your clothes tighter than they used to be? :)

If you're okay with the weight, then, er, STOP trying to lose. Just go ahead and be active because you enjoy it. Eat healthy because you love the food the way it is.

Stress causes our bodies to produce cortisol - something that makes our bodies reluctant to give up any fat cushion available. :) So, de-stress, just enjoy your life! :)

I know, easy for ME to say. :) I've still got almost 70 pounds to go ... :)
