The Early Bird Gets The Worm

I had a wonderful start to my Thursday, my body is a bit tired but I’m must keep pressing on. I was able to get a little earlier start than yesterday on my workout. I did the usual 20 minute strength training, then 50 minutes of aerobics and finished with a 30 minute walk. My workout partner, who is my daughter, says we need to do more. Keep in mind she’s only 20 and in much better shape, but I appreciate her motivation and the push she gives me.

We’ve decided to take a virtual trip to Texas (from North Carolina). She wants to visit the birthplace of one her favorite artist Beyonce. So we will be taking a trip to Houston, Texas which is 1,181.87 miles from us; our mode of travel will be the stationary bike. We only have one stationary bike so this may take some time. We do ride our other bikes there might be a way we track miles on them; I’ll have to check. I hope it’s only one-way; I don’t think I’ll be able to make the return trip (LOL). I’m not sure when we will start but I’ll keep you posted.

To everyone on this wonderful journey with me, stays focused and look for the positive to keep you motivated. We can do it!

    I love the idea of taking a virtual bike ride to Texas. That makes it a lot more fun and interesting. I am also impressed with your workout schedule! I thought I did well tonight with my husband playing tennis (or attempting to). I did break a sweat and I have to start somewhere I guess. Anyway...I will remember this post tomorrow morning. I am going to try to get up in the morning and walk after my husband leaves for work. Wish me Luck and way to go on your day!
