Monday is here again

I had an interesting weekend. One of my younger cousin graduated on Saturday. I attended the party following the graduation. I was looking forward to a piece of the cake. So, I had a few vegetables and then had my sights set on a small piece of cake. I scaped off the icing, not intrested in that part. There was fudge filling in the cake. Yummy....I slowly ate the cake. Afterwards, I began thinking about what drew me to the cake. I used to love cake. I no longer have the taste for it. I had a bad stomach ache after eating it. Now I know!
My DH was once again commenting on the inches and lbs. that I have shed thus far. He asked me, "What are you going to eat after you are done losing the weight?" I pondered for a moment and responded, "The same I am eating now. I am not on a diet. I have made a lifestyle change."
I am finding that I don't have nearly as many snack cravings. I don't find that I crave the things that I used to. I have seriously stuck to my changes. It is no longer very difficult to avoid bad food. I do not allow bad foods in my kitchen! I am more cautious about reading every label. My son no longer likes shopping with me. He says that I take too much time reading everything. LOL.....if he only knew.
I have learned that making these changes are easier than I had originally thought that it would be. Amazing!! Gotta run....

    emoticon way to go. Your right it isn't a diet you , I or any of us are on, it is a life change. Sweets in my down fall, and for you not crave them life you use to is a great thing, and I am sure a great feeling for you. I know over a yr ago when I lost 36 pounds, I got that way to where I prefered a salad over fried wings, of cake, I am not there yet, but I know in due time I will be. You are doing a great job. way to go and keep up the great work, and positive additude.
