First Goal Reached!!!!

Lost 3 more pounds this week!! I met my first goal.
It was a big suprise, thought for sure I had gained. Our theater group's first show of the season opened last night, so I've been at rehearsals all week, on top of work and everything else. Lots of drive-thru dinners, so I wasn't very confident this morning. When I stepped on the scale, I was SOOO happy!!!
So now I set my next goal. 10 pounds by July 20. There is a summer Victorian Ball in Riverside on July 24th. I want to look good for that!!! Maybe even make new dress!!!
I've been a lot more conscious about what I'm eating. Even if it's not always the best choice, I'm aware that it is what it is, and I'm choosing it. I'm not eating without thinking about it.
I've been a lot more active since joining SP also. Walking is something I look forward to now. It's my time, for me. I might even be able to start getting in a Ballet class once a week soon. My endurance is getting better, which is what I was worried about. That, and my legs being able to hold me up. But with the walking and losing 17 pounds (I had lost 3#s just before SP was suggested to me from a Weight Loss Challenge group leader) I think Im ready to dance again.
Speaking of the Weight Loss Challenge, it ended today and I won!!!!! Out of the 7 people who joined, only 3 of us made it through the 12 weeks. We all lost pounds or inches, and I lost the most!!! Meg, the leader, told me about SP when I wasn't losing anything( and even gaining slightly) and said I should check it out. I'm so glad I did!!!!
