Argh, I don't get it! I'm retaining water like CRAZY. My ankles are swollen like MPs' purses, apparently.
I'm drinking enough water.
I'm drinking MORE THAN ENOUGH water. I'm drinking, like, 1.5 litres of water a day OR MORE. (Normally more. ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M AT WORK, because there's NO AIR IN MY OFFICE, and so I have to drink water to keep my body functioning at base levels.)
So why am I all water-retainy? My period has gone (finally), so I'm thinking that's not it. I'm drinking plenty of water. I'm not eating any more salt than usual.
I actually gave up salting my food except for when it's required for cooking, but sometimes I forget that too, and the only salt I get is what I take in from the foods I eat. My diet hasn't changed much in the past two weeks, so what gives?! Honestly.
There are times when I just DO NOT understand my body at all. This is one of them.
