Yet another week of spark people and another pound GAINED!!!. emoticon

I am back to where I started from 1.5 months ago. I can take no losing weight. I don't have that much to eat. What is bothering me is I am eating +/- 100 coals of my lower limit and gaining weight. My lower limit is 1200. The main thing that has kept my motivation up is the thought of adding a little extra calories in my diet to maintain.

It looks like to stay at 15lbs short of my goal I will have to eat like a bird.

I just don't get it. I have been exercising and everything.

So discouraging. two weeks in a row.

    This is going to sound backwards, but if you think about it, it makes sense. The same thing happened to me - I was eating 1200 calories a day, which is the lower end of my range, and wasn't losing a thing! Then I came on the message boards here and searched around, and found out that I actually might not be eating enough. Weird, right? But from what I've read, your body goes into "starvation mode," where it thinks it needs to hold on to weight, and it will do that, making you not lose any weight. I'm probably describing it badly, and there are lots of people on here who you can explain it better, but my suggestion would be to add a couple hundred calories to your day. emoticon
