Congratulations Joan!!

Monday, May 11, 2009

Congratulation to our team mate JoanWi for her persistence and dedication to her goal. She has persevered and lost 50 lbs. We, as a team, wanted to nominate her as a motivator, but she has already achieved that goal. We are so proud of Joan and want to recognize her achievement.

Joan has shown us that one can realize a dream by constantly improving her workouts, and trying new methods to exercise. We would smile when she told us how she would stand up and do some exercise between commercials while watching sports on TV. But she was the one losing the weight while we just sat there and smiled at her. She actively participated in the Boot Camps and kept introducing us to new workouts she was doing and carefully watched her diet. She kept losing weight, while we just smiled, cheered her on and sat at our computers.

Thank you Joan for being a true leader to us and showing us the way. We all hope to follow in your footsteps.

You are the best! “Anyone Over 70 Group Forum”

I too wish to add my congratulations to Joan for reaching a goal and the Betty for posting the blog. I just got onto Sparks People a few minutes ago with my computer and can post to my Spark Points and this blog. I will try to post to the Anyone Over 70 site also. It usually will not respond no matter how many times I hit reply.

I get a screen that says I need a flash player, upgrade my Internet Server, or upgrade my Flashplayer. So far technical support has not been able to resolve the problem. I will try again tomorrow.

I do miss all of you gals so much.

    Congratulations Joan.
You richly deserve all the accolades you receive, you show us just what we could do if we would only dedicate ourselves to the task.
I am proud to know you, and count you one of my Spark Friends.
Betty has put into words all that I would say if only I were as clever as she.
Alas I am one of the smilers and sitters !!!
Very Best Wishes from me for your continued success.
