Not a great week

It has not been the best week for me, goal-wise. We've been very busy, and as such, healthy food choices suffer. When you can't get to the store to get healthy ingredients, it's just too easy to reach for something unhealthy out of habit.

My 'cereal addiction' kicked in. I love cereal. Usually I will have a small bowl for breakfast, but this week I've had cereal for snacks, a handful for dessert, etc. Fortunately the sugary stuff my husband likes is gone, now, so the temptation has been removed.

And the cravings this week! I crave fatty foods, chocolates, sugar, cakes and cookies.. more than once this week I've had to stop myself from grabbing a few dollars and walking to the bakery. Why?? I haven't had these cravings in months. I managed to satisfy at least some of them with cereal (see above) but I don't know why, after all this time, these types of foods are all I can think about.

My exercise has slipped a bit as well. I just haven't had the time to spend on my workouts. I've planned workout time, and then something comes up, and by the end of the day, I've only fit in a few minutes. I tried getting up earlier, but my allergies are horrible this time of year, and I start wheezing. So, exercise later in the day once the dew has dried is necessary for the time being. Thankfully, the worst time of year for me allergy-wise is now, and it should not be an issue a couple of weeks from now.

I doubt I've lost any weight. I've probably gained. It's frustrating.
