How long will it take me to learn

What is it like living on a roller coaster? Well I can sure tell you, at 61 years young I have been up and down so many times. Then I woke up, after having a major heart attack and decided if I ever want to enjoy life again I must finally get a grip and do something about it.
Though this body is fighting me with all it has I will win!! I can do this and most importantly, I want to. I am thrilled to have found this site and am looking forward to sharing my journey with all of you. I might be a slow turtle but my spirit flutters swift as a butterfly. You will be seeing less of me, LOL over the coming year! Have a wonderful day

You have a CAN DO attitude ~ great place to start. YOU CAN DO IT!!

My father had a heart attack as well (it was very scary) and he kicked his "healthy lifestyle butt" into gear as well.

Sorry, I don't have a picture to post yet......................

It is really surprising how much sodium and calories add up. I really like the Nutrition portion of SparkPeople......

Most of us are in your same boat, perhaps without the heart attack, trying and trying to lose. But, you are on the right track, keep the faith. emoticon
