Losing for now but Endurance later

I am working towards my goal of running the Maui Marathon in 2010. This week I have added extra walking during my lunch break at work. I can't go outside at that time of day as I am locked into the gas station but I can do laps around the inside. I try to eat something nutrious for my lunch and then use at least half of my lunch for the walking of laps around the inside of the station. My main goal for now is really to lose a good share of this extra weight that I am carrying around. After I get a little lighter it will be to work on my endurance. 26 miles seems like a lot right now but I hope that by the end of this year it will seem like a lot less.
