I just want to know that if you don't hear from me in the next few days, it will likely be because my computer is having trouble again. It wouldn't boot up at all yesterday. Today it booted up but then got hung up on something and froze. I'm writing from work now, but I won't be able to do so over the weekend.

I noticed your blog and I thought I'd ask - Do you regularly clean your computer of excess stuff?
Things like using the 'disk cleanup' and 'disk defragmenter' can help a lot. They come as part of the computer programming, depending on which programming your using - windows '98, vista, 2000, xp etc. It maybe useful to you to try using them if you have them.
If a computer isn't kept cleaned and free of some space (at least 15% free), or things aren't defragmented every so often, then your computer can back up and cause problems.
Plus you should always make sure you have the latest, up-to-date virus software and firewall software to prevent problems from hackers etc. They can cause many problems for you if left un-attended on your computer.
There isn't always a need to pay for a computer expert to come out and do the basics. If you don't know how to use them, then try going to 'help and support' on your start menu and type in 'disk cleanup' and then 'disk defragmenter'. You can also type in any problem that you are having, and you should get a list of topics that should help you solve many problems that can happen with a computer.
I knew nothing about computers until I decided to use the 'help and support'. I found most, if not all, the answers I needed there, and I've learned a lot since then. It is a real help when I'm stuck with a problem. I make sure though, that I read and re-read the topic before I do anything, just to make sure I fully understand it. If not, I just 'google' anything I don't understand, and usually find my answer there.
